There are several items we would like to draw your attention to in this month's Newsletter:

• There are many leadership opportunities are available for YES Network members who are interested in taking an active role in the YES Network. Specifically, we have current openings for: Regional Communications Officers, Newsletter Design Artist, Editors for the YES Network Bulletin, and a Website manager for the YES USA National Chapter (see page 4 for more information).
• Interested in discussing your research ideas with other YES Network members or do you have an idea for a webinar (could be related to Earth science, careers, outreach activities, etc)? Check out the posting for YES Chat and Webinar organizers on page 4.
• There are several internship, job, and student opportunities listed in the Geoscience Community News section with application deadlines of 15 March, so make sure to get your applications in soon.
• The YES Network's Decision Points Survey has been updated and expanded. Please take a few minutes out of your day to take the updated survey.

Upcoming meetings:

• The YES Network will be at the EGU 2011 General Assembly meeting next month. We have several activities planned. Please check out the information posted on page 6. If you will be at EGU this year, please let us know! We've also made a page on the website under the Meetings menu item (EGU 2011) so you can check our schedule of events at anytime.
• The YES Network is organizing 3 topical sessions, a short course and a student-networking luncheon at the Geological Society of America's annual meeting. Abstract submission is now open, and we strongly encourage YES Network members to submit their abstracts to these sessions. See page 7 for more information.

Возможности для научно-исследовательских работ и руководящих позиций:

·         Существует множество возможностей для руководящих позиций для членов Сети  YES Network, которые заинтересованы в активной рои в YES Network. В частности, мы имеем открытые вакансии для: должностное лицо по региональным связям (Regional Communications Officers), художественный дизайнер новостных рассылок (Newsletter Design Artist), редактор бюллетеня (Editors for the YES Network Bulletin) и менеджер веб-сайта YES в США (Website manager for the YES USA National Chapter). ·         Заинтересованы в дискуссии Ваших исследовательских идей с другими членами  YES Network или у Вас есть идея для вебинара (идея может быть посвящена наукам о Земле, карьере, внешней деятельности и др.)? Проверьте информацию на странице «YES Chat» и «Webinar organizers» на странице 4.

·         Существуют несколько видов стипендий, работ и возможностей для студентов, показанные в секции новостей геологического сообщества (Geoscience Community News) с возможностью участия и крайним сроком подачи документов – 15 марта.  

·         Вы можете потратить всего лишь несколько минут и взглянуть на обновлённый сайт, заполнив простую форму take the updated survey.
